Very comfortable
True to size. Held up all night and all day on a Mardi Gras float. Wizard of Oz theme and I was assigned Glenda the good witch. Worked perfectly. Be sure and open up outside because there is lots of glitter in the bag.

It needs some attention out of the package!
Overall, I am happy with this costume. I like the glitter (although my husband doesn’t as it sheds a lot of glitter), the overall look and the fact that the crown lights up. I didn’t notice anywhere in the description that the crown lights up, so that was a pleasant surprise. Besides the crown lighting up however, the rest of the construction of the crown is frustrating. It was folded crooked in the packaging, so now it has creases in odd spots and looks crooked when on my head. The butterflies on the costume were bent and they are a foam material, so they haven’t been easy to un-bend into a flat position, I think I’ll have to hot glue them into place. The dress was a complete wrinkled mess when I removed it from the packaging, so it’s hanging now, hoping that the wrinkles will hand out, but I am sure I’ll end up having to attempt to iron it. I am also short (5’1″) but needed the size L for the waist and bust measurements, but that means that the gown part is very long (I am used to that). I will need to have the length altered. I also recommend purchasing a hooped crinoline for underneath the dress to make it full if you are going for the true Glinda look. For the price, I was hoping for better quality.

Torn, wrinkly, itchy, cheap
Dress arrived with a hole in it and ridiculously wrinkly. The material is insanely itchy and uncomfortable. It has a tiny thin strip of velcro in the back so it constantly came open in the back, even though it was a bit baggy on me. The glitter came off everywhere and made a huge mess. The crown is made of cheap clear plastic and was folded and creased in the box so It looked weird and was hard to put on. Such a rip off. So pricey for such a piece of trash.

Runs big
Was fine quality however the sizing runs big. I ordered a small and it was falling off my shoulders and very big. Had to wear shirt under because it didn’t cover my chest well enough.

Better than expected
This costume is so gorgeous! The fit was generous. Very sparkly and beautiful. It was definitely a hit with everyone when I wore it to work. The crown was a little wonky as it never fully recovered from being bent in the packaging. But I added some rhinestones to the front and it turned out great.

Don’t size up
All the reviews said this was small. arms tight. smaller than expected. I usually wear a 4 (s), so I sized up to a M. It was huge. Everywhere. Arms not tight, in fact they were long and loose and just bigger than I would normally wear. And looks like there was a tie to cinch waist, but only found on one side, so I couldnt even do that. Plus glitter EVERYWHERE! I will be returning……

Beautiful but GLITTER BOMB đź’ŁWARNINGđźš«
First of all I really want to say that this dress is gorgeous!! It was exactly what I was looking for, for my Mother In-Law for a Halloween party. She wanted to be Glinda so bad, and this costume was the closest resemblance to the Movie version. But the moment she opened the package pounds and pounds of glitter went everywhere! It was insane!!!! Nothing helped to make it stop either. We shook it, we swept it, we sprayed it with hair spray and brushed it with glue. NOTHING stopped that mass attack of glitter. So we ended up buying another costume.The fit and sizing was spot on, she normally wears a medium and a medium fit her perfectly. She is also pretty short, about 5’4” or 5’5” and it only touched the ground slightly.The quality of the dress was unlike any other on the market today! Which is why i believe it deserves 4stars. There was great care in this dress making and if you don’t mind the glitter, it certainly would make a fantastic addition to your costume collection.

Holy Glitter Bomb, Batman!
For an out of the package costume, this outfit is really cute at first glance. Unfortunately, there were a few issues.It is a GLITTER BOMB for one. Glitter EVERYWHERE after trying it on.Secondly, I have a 38C bust and a 32″ waist and ordered a large. The dress doesn’t want to stay velcroed in back when I move around, (three tiny strips of Velcro hold the back together) and arrived with a small tear in the upper right shoulder. I found that it had a weird fit overall. The bust was too small, and it hit at the wrong part of my waist.Thirdly, the elastic that rests on your biceps was oddly itchy and a bit tight. I probably could have managed that part for a few parties though if the fit had been right.Lastly, the crown was oddly bent from being in the package, and with it being plastic, I’m not sure I could have straightened it out.Overall, a cute idea, but bad execution. I’ll stick to putting my own costumes together for another year.
