Good for the money but some parts are a little strange.
My boyfriend and I were batman and catwoman for halloween at a party we just went to. Everyone loved our costumes. So for that reason alone I was really please. Now to be a little critical, the “mask” is the ugliest thing I have ever seen! Normally that would be no problem at all expect for the fact its attached to the cape!. My boyfriend and I cut the mask of the cape and he used a plastic mask I had bought him separately. Also the chest piece runs enormus… even though everyone like his costume it really made him look fat instead of muscular which was actually pretty funny. My boyfriend is six feet tall and around 190-200 pounds. (slim,tall,athletic build) and we bought him a large. Other than the giant chest plate it fit great. If you are going to a party with friends this is a great choice.

It’s very good for the price, it gets the job done. However, it would be better if the chest mold matched the size of the costume, since it feels a bit big, but everything else is fine. I am 5.9 and chose size M

My husband loved it so much he acted as a child…
My husband had been wanting to dress up as batman for a while now. Initially, i was planning on making him the costume myself but i just didn’t have time. I ordered this one the week before halloween and it quickly arrived 2 days later. He tried it on, and like many said before me, the crotch area was SUPER tight (My husband is 6’4″, 190 lbs for reference). He’s normally a large but can sometimes fit in a long medium since he’s skinny but super tall so i thought i’d be ok with a large…nope. We ordered an x-large instead and that one fit a lot better. The bottom is simply too small but then the top is the opposite extreme and is HUGE! The XL shoulders fit about half way down his arm, almost to the elbow and his chest looked abnormal. As a quick fix, i attached two pieces on ribbon to the inside of the chest, right under his arm pits, and he was able to tighten the chest so that it looked somewhat normal. The chest piece is made up of a tough but pliable foam. i have a feeling if it was stuck in the same folded position, it would eventually stay in that same folded position so careful where its stored! the arms and legs are a stretchy, cheap material (think lycra) but he said they weren’t itchy. He wore some *ahem* support briefs so that the he wouldn’t provide his coworkers with a free show (not as tight as the large but that fabric is still unforgiving) and also had a to wear a black tshirt since the back is only 3 little velcro pieces that often came undone. The belt is easily the cheapest thing i’ve ever seen (soft plastic pieces glued together to kind of resemble a belt) so if he wears it again, i’m definitely taking that plastic thing off and buying him a better one. The little pieces sticking out in the arms were folded up and stuck out in weird angles so i tried my best to fix those with some ironing. Made it passable but definitely not super cool looking. The suite is all 1 piece with the cape/head piece separate. This meant every time my husband had to go to the bathroom, the whole thing had to come off…he wasn’t pleased about that part but still enjoyed it so much he couldn’t complain. Aside from the belt, the headpiece and cape were my least favorite thing. I liked the overall look of the headpiece (same hard foam as the chest) but the ears just looked super lame. Just 1 piece of foam (that often bent) sticking up. I’m going to try and stuff them so that they’ll look a little more menacing. The cape is just ugh. I bought a $10 cape from amazon that was 100x better than this. This thing is flimsy, see though, and half the time you don’t even notice it because it does not billow out and it doesn’t go over his shoulders. its about 1.5yds wide so its literally just a long piece of black fabric that hangs on the back. I will definitely be buying him a new cape if he wears it again. Overall, i’m happy with the overall product (especially since i didn’t have to make one from scratch). When i have the time, some small improvements can definitely make it look more awesome. Overall, i got what i paid for.

Terrible Costume! Horrible sizing!
This costume is awful. Got an xl thinking it would fit but the chest plate was way too wide. The pants, on the other hand were way too small. They were short and really grab the groin area. The mask is atrocious too. Doesn’t have any structure. Yeah it’s a cheap Halloween costume, but this is a new level of bad.

Proportions are a little out of whack as to fit but pretty good bang for the buck all in all
Don’t expect a theatrical quality rig here, but you get a thin jumpsuit type design with a cape and cowl. The utility belt is very underwhelming but gets the job done. The breastplate is a semi-rigid foam type thing that does a decent job of simulating a big barrel chest. I got a few compliments, but mostly because its a full body suit and my entire family went as superheroes. My main problem was with the fit but it was not awful. Not too big or small, just out of proportion. I am 5’9 and average build so I ordered the medium. While not uncomfortable it would fit someone who was very short and stocky much better. I’m a 39 chest and the breastplate really needs a 42 or more to fit well, but it was a little tight in the crotch when the boot covers were secured under my foot, so I guess its not really long enough in the torso. Still, OK for the money.

The foam cut easily though so the modification worked just fine. The hood has the foam mask stitched to it and is sewn directly to the cape as a single peice. It fastens at the neck with a little peice of velcro. That means if you get tired of the mask you can’t flip it up or take it off without losing the hood and cape. The ears are padded with foam and one was slightly bend in shipping giving an adorable doggy look to our fierce caped man. Over all a good costume.

Amazing costume! Stop looking for any other Batman costume
Amazing my husband is a small and the standard fit him really well!! We loved it, honestly I did a lot of research to find the perfect costume for him and out of all the reviews and comments this one is by far the best one! I would agree with the comments about the mask it’s connected with the cape and honestly just looks funky, I bought him a different cape and a different mask from the same company and it’s amazing ! At least the cape is I have yet to receive the mask.

I can’t really comment on the head/cape and belt as it was not in the packaging when I got it. (Was kinda upset, but AMAZON fixed it for me!)Anywho, the jumpsuit…as many have said, the chest is fairly large. I am a big dude, 6′ 245lbs and the chest was still too wide. I realize that they have to make them to appease a variety of body styles. So I still give it four stars because other than that the suit was pretty decent for the price.The sut is made of a polyester material with the gauntlets blade built in. Tho the arms were a little long on me, I just took up the excess material and wore some cool black gloves that kinda finished the look.The velcro fasteners on the back of the suit are stretched to their capacity when you bend over and come apart and I heard a slight rip of the fabric as I bent over. That is from the crotch lol. Because while the chest is large for a 50″ chest even, the bottom half was just about right, except for the crotch. The legs were perfect. I wore only underwear and a t-shirt under the suit.One of the worst things is the boot covers. Apparently, this suit is made for large chested, short waisted, small footed people. I wear a 10 1/2(Not that large), the cover has a stretchy piece of material which is supposed to go over your foot and keep the cover in place. The cover was too small and when I put the first one over it broke. But that just might be user error. Anywho, all in all, except for the aggravation of not having the cape and mask in the package, the suit is pretty cool. Amazon fixed the problem by offering a separate mask and cape and refunding a portion of my order to make the difference. Kudos to Amazon for stepping up.The suit is pretty cool all in all, some minor adjustment might be needed for your body style.
